It’s that time again, we are archiving our Mood Board Monday’s from this past month, June 2020. This has been a month of listening, acknowledging our white privilege, learning about how systemic racism effects all aspects of our lives, and taking action. Here at Ann Cox Design we are passionate about equality. We understand that we will never understand what is it like to be a black person in America, but we stand with you. As an ally, we will continue to learn, evolve, and support as much as possible.

This month we were inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and all of the people out there who have united together to stand up against racial injustice. We were inspired by so many incredible black designers, artists, and business owners. Since June is also Pride month, we also featured a few of our favorite LGBQT+ designers and artists. Ann Cox Design is proud to announce that we are donating 100% of our June online store sales to the Black Interior Designers Network. They are a wonderful non profit who are partnering with the NAACP in working towards a more inclusive design industry. Our donation is just our first step. We promise to continue to share BIPOC designers and artists within our Mood Board Mondays. It is up to our design community to continue to celebrate and elevate each other. Different voices and perspectives is what makes us all better. Let’s continue to learn and inspire one another.
